Minister Sees the Light!

<<< Back

light1The last few months have seen a host of new initiatives launched across the area, including our very own floodlighting project at HERIAN's HQ, Ynysfach Engine House in Merthyr Tydfil. Minister Rhodri Glyn Thomas turned the lights on 'live' on the teatime news, with both HTV and BBC weather presenters using the launch for their nightime broadcast. Feature lighting is also being installed at the Nye Bevan Stones in Tredegar, and the Colesium Theatre in Aberdare.

light2Launched at the same time was the Ynysfach Community Heritage Project, which includes a small interactive exhibition showing the process of iron making, as well as computers for public research and a meeting/ training room.
