Mumbles railway celebrated in School Banner Competition

<<< Back

Mumbles Tourist Association recently held a schools competition to design heritage-themed street banners celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Mumbles Railway. Hundreds of entries were received and the finalist's work was exhibited at The Guildhall. Prize money was donated by the Rotary Clubs of Mumbles and Morriston and the winning art work will now be used to create street banners along Mumbles Road in this popular seaside village.
