Why Welcome to Our Heritage?
This course has been developed to support the aims and objectives of the HERIAN project. The HERIAN project exists to encourage the communities of industrial South Wales to take ownership of their own story and provide over the longer term a meaningful experience for visitors to industrial South Wales and improve heritage tourism in a sustainable, visitor friendly way.
What is Welcome to Our Heritage?
A one day, six hour course to develop skills in:
- Customer Service Essentials
- Exploring and Interpreting your local Heritage
Key to the success of this seminar is a pre-course questionnaire. Involving finding out about the unique features your area has to offer, you will find it fun to complete and share with the group at your course.

How much for Welcome to Our Heritage?
Prices are affordable but vary depending upon numbers to be trained, organisation status and funding available.
