Can you open your doors in September? European Heritage Days in Wales 2008
When: 12 May 2008

Open Doors Logo

The Civic Trust in Wales is inviting owners and managers of sites and buildings of architectural or historic importance to take part in Open Doors 2008, the largest ever celebration of heritage and architecture in Wales. Perhaps you could you let people visit your building, or provide a guided walk or talk or put on a concert in an unusual venue?

Open Doors Logo 2The official weekends are 6-7th September, 13-14th September and 20-21st September. Last year nearly 250 sites gave members of the public free access to interesting buildings across Wales, ranging from the UK's only Victorian transporter bridge to a World War II flight control tower!

For further info contact the Civic Trust for Wales. They can provide support, signage, stickers, postcards, badges and banners to help promote your 'open door'!
