CyMAL Fundraising Programme 2007-08 Fundraising is becoming more and more important for museums, archives and libraries in their effort to secure sustainable levels of funding. Fundraising and the Law
Trainer: Martin Price, Martin Price Associates Date: Wednesday 19th September, 2007 Venue: Rhondda Heritage Park Staff and volunteers from Museums, Archives and Libraries whose responsibilities cover fundraising need to be aware of the relevant laws and regulations. The day will cover the laws governing charitable appeals, public collections and raffles. The roles and responsibilities of managing volunteer fundraisers will be identified, and delegates will learn how to avoid pitfalls when producing fundraising material. Objectives · Learn about the implications of the 2006 Charities Act for fundraising.
