Tirwedd Soniarus: between Trehafod and Barry Island, 2007:
When: 29 Aug - 23 Sep 2007

A sonic installation by Wales based artist Abby Sohn, is the result of an extensive research project into the industrial remains of the disused Barry Railway line from Trehafod to Barry Island. Sohn's work explores how to employ the peculiarities of specific places found along this disused route in order to create a lyrical and meditative language.

The work will be experienced as two site-specific installations.

The first will be held at the Vale of Glamorgan Rail Company, Barry Island Station, Barry Island on Friday, Sept. 7th 2007 at 7pm. The installation will be on display throughout the weekend from 11:00am - 5pm.
